Yes Tammy. I always say though you can substitute gluten free flour for things but the texture and different things may not be exactly the same but this should be ok

I have just started following you and are enjoying the recipes like this one. Can’t wait to try it. Have you purchased a stand alone freezer and or a second refrigerator to store the stock up items that you buy?

That really depends on your situation Sharon. Here are some things to think about. The size of your family, how much electricity will it take to run the freezer, will you really use the food you stock up on or will it spoil in the fridge because you got busy and didn’t get it put up properly or will it sit in the freezer and get freezer burn because you forgot about it. I had a freezer myself but finally got rid of it because it was costing me $40 a month to run, I had to throw out a ton a food each year because I would forget it was in there or we would have a power outage about once a year and would have to toss a whole freezer of food. By the time I added all that up I had lost all the money I had saved on sells and also had one more thing to my list to clean and keep organized.
I could stock up on 6 mons of good chicken sales but chicken where I live goes on sale about every 3 wks so I don’t have to store 6 mons worth. That is why I say consider all your needs and make your decision from there.

Just for reference it costs me $50/year to run my freezer so it’s a huge money saver for me. Just figure out how much you would use and if it’s worth it or not.

I know my freezer is worth it, plus it gives me a good feeling of security to have food ready to cook. My parents grew up in the Depression and they’re ideas rubbed off on me.
