Ham Meal Plan with Sweet Potato and Apple Dish Recipe

Quick Tips For Easier Meals:

  • To frost your cake quickly, sprinkle chocolate chips on top of it as soon as you bring it out of the oven. Once the chocolate chips melt, gently spread. Dusting with powdered sugar is another quick and less expensive topping for a cake.
  • It’s always hard to get to those little nooks and crannies on small kitchen appliances and dishes when you are cleaning. Here are 3 brushes I keep on hand to make these items easier to clean – a baby bottle brush, nipple brush or cake decorating tip brush and a toothbrush. You may not need all of these but pick a couple of the ones you think you will use the most.
  • There are days when I am brain dead while cooking and I can’t remember if I have salted something or not. It this happens to you a lot too, salt the item first and then immediately add the pepper. Then when you see the specks of pepper you know you have salted it.

Meal Plan:

Are you looking for a quick and delicious ham meal plan? Look no further! Whether you have leftover ham or want to make ham from scratch, this meal plan will satisfy your taste buds. You’ll find the recipes for 2 of the easy side dishes below.

Find sweet potatoes very hard to slice, let alone thinly.

I have a question… Do you mix everything (but potatoes and apples) together and put on top -or- do you mix the dry ingredients and spread them over top then drizzle with the maple syrup and melted butter? It just sounds a little gooey to mix it all together. But I have apples and maple syrup from our trees and sweet potatoes from the garden – it sounds like a recipe I need to try. :)

Kristine the original recipe says to mix it all together but I am not sure that it really would make that big of a difference so you can try drizzling it if you want.
