Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 (12.4 oz.) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
5 eggs
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (milk works too, but cream makes it richer)
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
3/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Melt butter in a 9×13 pan.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into 6–8 pieces and layer on top of butter in the pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the eggs, cream, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces.
- Sprinkle with nuts and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Bake 20–28 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool about 15 minutes.
- Drizzle with the frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls. For extra sweetness, dust with powdered sugar or serve with more syrup on the side.
