Rose I have to tease you. I can’t stop laughing. I posted your first post and it had 2 lines is all – I thought is this our Rose only writing 2 lines? Then your next post had 1 line and now this post has one word. Ok has aliens come and taken our Rose away. I think this is your shortest post on record Rose. I just had to laugh. I do hope you are feeling ok today. I am a little concerned. :) :)

We all need to stop doing the usual once in awhile and catch our breath. I know too you have your hands full with so many things and was a little concerned about you.

Rose stay as chatty as you like. I enjoy reading your posts.
If it is too warm where you are come visit me.
We had rain and wet snow last week but this week it is back in the 70’s but the breeze keeps it comfortable.
Oct and 70 F. not bad since we usually start wearing winter coats some days by this time.
Hunting season has started and all the cammo and orange clothing is in full view around town.
Not hunting this year as my hands are going into claws on nasty days so they won’t hold a gun.
We are thinking of going out and taking pictures today if the wind dies down to just a dull roar.
If not I clean out my freezer. Hope we go out.
Halloween is a sort of bust. 6 kids total in 12 years living in this house.
So I have a case of pop for anyone who does show up. Usually it is raining or snowing hopefully this year will be different.
    enjoy the season.
Not sure what to serve on Sunday for thanksgiving dinner just the 2 of us so it might be hamburgers.
Oh well the company will be great.

I am envious of you and Tawra. I just got off of the phone and they are getting rain/snow there too.
It maybe to late for you to hit the store but when there have been just a couple of us for Thanksgiving or for Christmas I have had cornish hens. They are a little expensive but I love them and it is a nice treat for a special day especially if there are only 1-2 people eating. I even put a little bit of stuffing in them.

I heard that somewhere in Colorado got 3 feet of snow and they are opening a ski resort for the earliest time EVER this year. WOW.

i would love to visit Canada someday grandma .. i bet its so pretty too ..
and well the weather u have been having seems nice too ..
today it was very damp/wet and very rainy all day long .. it was a cold rain . not the usual warm/hot rain we get .. but it was nice for a change ..
soon tho, it will be much cooler .. cant wait tho ..
i am glad to hear everyone loves my chatty posts .. i oftened wondered if i typed too much but i guess i have alot to say . hehehe :D ..
i will be my usual chatty self in no time again .. sometimes (like jill did mention) .. one feels the need to just enjoy the surroundings and take notice of the beauty that GOD has to offer..
and that is basically what i am doing .. just trying to be more thankful for what i have .. been doing lots of praying ..
thank you again for all the sweet, kind words/thoughts everyone ..
    i greatly appreciate it
    your friend forever.. rose :D :D :D

Quite often over the years we have partridge and rabbit stew. Don is metis so he says it is traditional for his family roots.
The boys loved that they got the main part of the stew.
This year it may be left over Chinese food. The weather is acting weird today so rain tomorrow and that means I won’t be able to move much.
Rose I think you said you are in Florida.
My mom and dad bought a trailer when my dad was alive and my mom still goes down every year. She says all her friends are there and in the winter here she lives with my sister but Beth works all day so mom is sort of stuck on the back road at the very end of it. With only the dogs for company. I am just glad she still goes. The old folks there all know what she has gone through and this year that is more important than ever since my younger sister passed away this summer. She had brain cancer the same thing that killed my dad. She needs people around her who won’t push her to happy and jolly but will sit quietly with her when she needs peace and quiet but will be there to drop in or take her out for lunch or play cards with her when she feels like it.
She is in bradenton beach a retirement village on an island so just snow birds are there.
Too hot for me so I will stick with the snow. At least then I can always put on more clothes but the older I get the less I can take off and stay respectable.
