Easy Air Fryer Chicken Recipes

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
spray  oil (I like avocado oil.)
seasoned salt

Spray each chicken breast on one side with oil. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Lay in an air fryer, seasoned side down. Then spray the second side with oil and sprinkle with seasoned salt.  Air fry for 10 minutes at 360°.

Flip over and air fry another 8 to 12 minutes at 360° depending on the size of your chicken breasts, until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°.

Allow the chicken to rest for about 5 minutes before cutting into it. This allows the juices to redistribute in the chicken to make the chicken juicier.

This easy air fryer lemon chicken recipe makes another juicy and tasty chicken main dish! With lemon and pepper, this savory chicken recipe is more bold than our other air fryer chicken breast recipes. This recipe is also great served with rice or pasta and the vegetable of your choice.

Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas Recipe

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
1 red pepper, thinly sliced
1 green pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. fajita seasoning
1 Tbsp. olive oil

Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl or ziptop bag and mix well to coat evenly.

Add the chicken and vegetables to the air fryer basket and cook at 350° for 8 minutes. Stir and cook 7 more minutes.

If you prefer the vegetables less cooked and a bit more naturally crisp like my husband, you can wait until half way through to add the veggies.

This air fryer chicken nuggets recipe is a favorite with kids! It makes delicious chicken nuggets, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

What I especially love about this recipe is getting the yummy fried chicken taste without all the spitting and popping of frying them in oil. Another thing about air fryer chicken breast recipes like this one is how quickly you can prep and cook them when the kids are rioting! Try it the next time the kids are begging for fast food and save yourself the hassle of dragging them through the drive-thru!

I have a question about air fryers. Lately, I have seen a lot of interesting sounding recipes that only give air fryer instructions. I was under the impression that an air fryer is basically a small convection oven. I have a convection oven a bit bigger than a microwave that I use for most of my baking. If I placed an oven rack over a cookie sheet, could I get the same results? I don’t have much counter space, so I I got an air fryer I would need to find a place for it and dig it out every time I wanted to use it. I would rather use what I have. Can I? How do I adapt air fryer recipes to my convection oven?

Sharon I don’t have an air fryer myself but what I would do is just try it and see what happens. Use a few fries or chicken nugget (just a couple of pieces and try it and see what happens.

Do you recommend a particular brand of air fryer? I have talked myself into buying one, after watching a video of how well some appliances work for those of us with concentration problems.

I really don’t know of one to recommend Janet but maybe one of our viewers does.
