The first is an Italian-inspired Garlic Parmesan Chicken recipe — perfect served with rice, broccoli, or garlic bread for a full Italian-themed meal. The second is a classic 40 Clove Garlic Chicken recipe, packed with rich garlic flavor and perfect alongside rice and your favorite veggies.

This first easy garlic chicken recipe makes a delicious Italian themed garlic parmesan chicken. It is a perfect dinner recipe and one of our favorite chicken breast recipes. It’s very versatile, but to make it easy, I serve it with rice and a vegetable like broccoli or Italian green beans. If you would like to stay with the Italian theme, you could serve it with other Italian themed meal items like seasoned rice or garlic bread.
Easy Garlic Chicken Recipe
Try this garlic chicken recipe for a delicious savory meal with just a few minutes prep time. Serve with rice and a veggie and you’re done!
Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced or 2 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Heat olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Transfer garlic and oil to a shallow bowl.
- Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a separate shallow bowl.
- Dip chicken breast halves in the olive oil and garlic mixture.
- Then dip into the bread crumb mixture and turn to evenly coat.
- Place into a shallow baking dish.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. A thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165°.
This 40 clove garlic chicken recipe is a delicious seasoned baked chicken with a distinct garlic flavor. It is a delicious savory dinner recipe that goes well with rice and your favorite vegetable!
40 Clove Garlic Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
4 chicken thighs or breasts, with skin
salt and pepper (to taste)
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. thyme
40 peeled cloves garlic, about 2 bulbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- In an oven-proof skillet, add 2 tablespoons olive oil and brown chicken on both sides over high heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Add ½ cup oil, thyme and garlic cloves.
- Cover and bake 1½ hours.
- Remove chicken from the oven. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
