Honey-Baked Chicken Recipe

This Honey Baked Chicken Recipe in less than 5 minutes for less than $3 for the entire family! This is our family’s favorite and it’s easy to make!

Honey-Baked Chicken Recipe

6 chicken fryer pieces
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1/3 cup honey
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt

Arrange chicken in a baking dish with the skin side up. Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting every 15 minutes (until chicken is tender and brown). Serve with rice. Serves 4-6.

    This looks like a fun and simple recipe, which I appreciate. I’m a single mom, so I don’t have a lot of time to find a ton of ingredients. The recipe is something I could put together quickly and have a tasty meal. Thank you for sharing on Frugal Friday. :)

    Came across this recipe the other evening while looking for a different way to make chicken. It was simple and actually very tasty. I used boneless breasts instead of fryer pieces because that’s what I had on hand. I lightly coated them with plain bread crumbs (dipped chicken in water first to moisten a bit) and also sprayed the baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking. I definitely would make this again and I think I will double the sauce mix to have extra.
