
Holiday Fruit Salad Recipe
1 red apple, chopped
1 green apple, chopped
1 nectarine, chopped*
2 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 (8 oz.) container of either lemon, key lime or vanilla yogurt
Mix everything. Chill until serving.
*You can use Mandarin oranges if nectarines are not in season but they are best added just before serving.

I think your grandchildren might like them and think the treats are cute. Even the eggs are cute. I think they’re cute myself.
You can also add some mini marshmallows and coconut to dress it up. I know, I know, that’s probably not “healthy” (well, maybe not the marshmallows), but it sure tastes good!
That would be so good too Jeanne. It is Christmas and I’m afraid if I have to choice healthy over yummy it usually choose yummy.
Hello Jill: That does sound great but I think that it would be great using Jello as well. That might add some more color to the salad, and even use some whipped cream on the side if they want it. I will use this as a Jello salad myself. Sounds great!
