If you don’t have time to make a red velvet cake but want something special for Valentine’s Day or any other special occasion, try this Red Velvet Hot Chocolate Recipe. Red Velvet Hot Chocolate would taste extra special if you’re sipping it while curled up in front of a toasty fire, a nice finishing touch on a nice romantic evening.
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
4 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
10 oz. chocolate chips
2 tsp. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
Whipped topping
Mix all of the ingredients in a sauce pan and heat over medium heat until it is hot and the chocolate chips are melted. Pour the hot chocolate into cups and top with whipped topping. Serve with heart shaped sugar cookies.
