I just LOVE Christmas and I drive Mike crazy every year when I declare some time in November that it’s all Christmas movies all the time! Here are some of our favorite Christmas Movies that are clean and family friendly!

When I say I LOVE Christmas movies I really LOVE Christmas movies! Here’s a list of some of my favorites! I’m sure I forgot some of them but will keep adding as I remember! Tawra
Mike and I watch Christmas movies almost exclusively in November and December and our favorites are a mixture of old classic movies from the 19403 and 1930s, along with clean and family friendly modern movies and a healthy dose of Hallmark and Lifetime chick flicks.
12 Dates of Christmas – This is definitely in our top 10 favorite Christmas movies that we watch every year! A Very well done Christmas movie where the main character is living the same day over and over in the spirit of Groundhog Day. Yes, it is a chick flick but one that guys are likely to love just as much as the women! Mike says it’s one of his faves! lol
Shop Around The Corner – A cute 1940 classic Christmas story with James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan
It’s A Wonderful Life – Mike’s most favorite Christmas movie! A classic that we watch every year!
The Man Who Invented Christmas
Christmas in Connecticut – A fun light hearted Christmas comedy from 1945 featuring Barbara Stanwyck and Dennis Morgan
White Christmas – A fun, light hearted feel good movie with music and dancing featuring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen
Journey Back to Christmas – A heartwarming Christmas movie featuring Candace Cameron Bure as a World War II era nurse unexpectedly transported in time to 2016. This is one of our favorites even among the others in this list!
Christmas Lodge – A fun, feel good 2011 TV movie about a young woman who stumbles upon the Christmas lodge where her family spent every Christmas when she was a child.
Christmas with the Kranks – A 2004 slapstick comedy with Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis as an empty nest couple awkwardly doing Christmas Tim Allen style!
A Christmas Tree Miracle – A warm-hearted holiday tale for the whole family.
Christmas Angel – This is a heartwarming Christmas movie about a woman who learns the joy of Christmas blessings from a reclusive neighbor.
Snowed Inn Christmas – A Lifetime movie with 2 polar opposites, working for the same online publication in New York City on an unexpected Christmas detour! Sweet, warm hearted and fun!
A Royal Christmas – Another fun and heartwarming Christmas movie about a modern day prince who wants to marry his American girlfriend, a seamstress from Philadelphia, but his mother the queen (played by Jane Seymour) does not approve.
Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe
A Christmas Carol – The classic film based on the Charles Dickens novel about the redemption of Ebenezer Scrooge. This is the 1984 version featuring George C. Scott, but we love all of the various versions. Patrick Stewart is also a great scrooge in the 1999 version!
Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas
Coming Home for Christmas – A young woman wants to reunite her estranged family for the holidays.
The Santa Clause – We think if this as a new movie, but it’s now a classic Christmas family comedy with Tim Allen, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson – Fun and our kids have always loved it, too!
Snowglobe – A lighthearted comedy about a young woman who finds a Snowglobe that transports her into a Christmas wonderland.
A Christmas to Remember – A super cute movie about a TV personality who crashes her car and develops amnesia on the way to a mountain retreat. A friendly passerby taker her in & as time passes, she learns to love her new life.
Christmas Comes To Willow Creek
The Homecoming: A Christmas Story – The Christmas movie that inspired the TV show, The Waltons
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
Holiday Romance Collection Movie 10 Pack
Hallmark Holiday Collection including A Very Merry Mix-Up, The Christmas Ornament, Hitched For the Holidays, Come Dance With Me. We enjoyed all of these movies!
A Christmas in Tennessee – A mother and daughter who own a bakery try to stop a charming real estate developer from turning their small town into a ski resort.
Christmas Classics – Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Frosty The Snowman – Some of the classic must see animated kids movies from when we were growing up!
A Charlie Brown Christmas – Charlie Brown is a classic we absolutely MUST watch with the kids every year!
Polar Express – Kids movie about a fantasy train ride to the North pole. Our kids have enjoyed this movie.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Jen, a corporate analyst and single mother, tackles Christmas with a business-like approach until her uncle (comedy legend Henry Winkler) arrives with a handsome stranger in tow.

Try The Bishop’s Wife with gorgeous Cary Grant, David Niven, and Loretta Young. Charming.

That is one of my very favorite’s too. I know many like it’s a Wonderful Life and it is good but the old Bishop’s Wife is my favorite must watch at Christmas movie.

A couple of vintage movies that are great are “Remember the Night” with Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyk, Beulah Bondy (she was Jimmy Stewart’s mom in “It’s a Wonderful Life”) also “The Man Who Came to to Dinner” with the fabulous Monte Wooley,(the professor in The Bishop’s Wife) Bette Davis, Jimmy Durante among others.
