Ingredients

1 lb. white almond bark
1 cup crushed peppermint candies*
1/4 tsp. peppermint flavoring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the almond bark in the microwave according to the package directions.
  2. Stir in peppermints and flavoring. I like my bark really minty so I add more flavoring.
  3. Pour onto waxed paper or a silicone baking mat on a cookie sheet.
  4. Spread and let harden. You can put it in the fridge if you prefer to harden it more quickly.
  5. Then break into pieces.

Notes

If you like, you can mix bark flavors. For example, you could first melt some chocolate bark, spread it on the waxed paper and let it harden partway before spreading the peppermint and almond bark mixture over the top.

*To crush candy canes, put them in a ziptop bag and smash them with a rolling pin.

Variations:  You can put just about anything into almond bark for different flavors!

  • Almonds
  • Almonds and Cherries
  • Peanut Butter Chips
  • Oreos
  • M&M’s
  • Caramel Bits

  • Author: Tawra Kellam

Ingredients

1 lb. white almond bark (or 1 bag white chocolate chips)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. pink candy wafers
1 (12 oz.) pkg. red candy wafers
candy sprinkles (your choice of white, pink, red or gold)
Jet-Puffed Vanilla Marshmallow Bits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the almond bark in the microwave according to the package directions.
  2. Drizzle the melted almond bark onto waxed paper or onto a silicone baking mat on a cookie sheet.
  3. Spread evenly to about 1/8″ thick.
  4. Melt the pink candy wafers in the microwave according to the package directions.
  5. Drizzle melted candy over the top of the first layer.
  6. Melt the red candy wafers in the microwave according to the package directions.
  7. Drizzle the melted red candy over the top of the other layers.
  8. Using a spatula, swirl the layers together to get the desired look.
  9. Gently shake the baking sheet to work out any bubbles.
  10. Add candy sprinkles liberally over the swirled candy, as desired.
  11. Sprinkle marshmallow bits over the top, if desired.
  12. Let harden. You can put it in the fridge if you prefer to make it harden faster.
  13. Then break into pieces and serve.

Notes

  • The basic recipe calls for almond bark and candy wafers, but you can mix and match almond bark, candy wafers and white chocolate chips.
  • If you don’t have colored candy wafers, you can melt almond bark or white chocolate chips in separate batches and add red food coloring until you get the desired shade of red or pink.
  • You don’t have to use the exact amount of almond bark and candy wafers called for in the recipe, so if you have more or less of one of the candy ingredients, or if you want to make a partial batch, you can adjust to what you have and it will work out fine.
