About Our Recipes: Our focus is old-fashioned home cooking and we write about what we know/love. We do not specifically target vegetarian, diabetic or allergy recipes, though some of our recipes may fit in those categories. Most recipes can be adjusted to fit your dietary needs.

Reader Questions: If you have specific questions, please feel free to ask! (Due to high e-mail volume we cannot respond individually to all messages.)

We do not answer very vague or broad questions about financial problems. Here are some examples of what not to ask:

  • How do I save on my grocery bill?
  • How do I get out of debt?
  • I live in an expensive place. How do I do it?

(These questions are answered in detail on our youtube videos and our free website. We have many pages of free information on the website and more resources are available in Dining On A Dime, a 500 page book on saving on groceries that you can use to help you get started.)

We don’t answer negative emails (trying to change our point of view in a negative way) either. If you can’t ask nicely, don’t ask! If you disagree with us about something, that’s fine. You don’t need to tell us. :-)
