I was so excited the other day when mom called again and said they had more formula on clearance. It was $5 a can and I had just got 5 coupons in the mail for $5 off each the day before. So I ran down there and picked them all up. I only had 4 coupons because just 2 hours before I had purchased some at our store.
Well, three days later when I went to open the next can it looked funny. So I looked at the label and I had picked up the Premie milk formula and not the Soy! Augh! The labels looked the same color in the light I was in so I didn’t even bother looking at the other cans to see what the words said. The first can was Soy.
I was just sick. I tried to return them to the store but they said they can’t take back infant food because they can’t re-sell any that has left the store because of a federal law. (Talk about all common sense leaving the country!)
Well, I was just sick and stewing and stewing over. Dumb I know but I’m having “mood issues” right now and it just irked me. Finally I just said “Lord, I need you to please send me some more formula coupons and help me get over this.” Jack is going through about $40 a week of formula right now because he’s not eating soild’s real well yet. That’s even with adding rice to it.
Anyway, 3 days later I called Enfamil suggested that they change the color on the can to make it stand out better. I was nice and told them that I knew this wasn’t their fault but that it would help tired worn out moms not make the same mistake.
Would you believe they are going to send me 4 cans to replace the stuff I can’t use plus more coupons!! I just couldn’t believe it! So it pays to pray about, talk to the company and BE NICE when doing so!!! Not only did God give me the formula he gave me MORE in extra coupons on top!
God really does take care of even the small stuff for us and we need to have faith that he will!

Donate the stuff you can’t use to the local hospital or shelter or food pantry.
Amen! What a wonderful answer to prayer! God does care about the small stuff…we just have to trust him.
He does provide!
Thank you so much for sharing that. We can get stuck in our emotions and FORGET to pray!!
Ephesians 3:20 is still true.
Amen! He is a great big God! Thanks for this posting!
