This Turkey Mushroom Casserole Recipe is a great way to use those holiday leftovers without tasting like the same old Thanksgiving leftovers!

Ingredients

67 cups rolls or bread, dried and cubed
2 cups turkey or ham, cooked
1 (8 oz.) can of mushrooms, drained
11 large eggs, beaten
3 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
12 cups Swiss cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Arrange bread cubes in a well-greased 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Layer turkey and mushrooms on top of bread cubes.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk and seasonings.
  5. Pour on top of bread, turkey and mushrooms.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
  7. When ready to bake, sprinkle on cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350° for 60 minutes or until a knife insert comes out clean. Do not undercook!
