Sour Cream Lemon Pie Recipe



1 cup sugar
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon rind, grated
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
1 baked 9 inch pie shell
whipped topping


  1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, lemon juice, egg yolks and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until thick.
  3. Stir in butter.
  4. Cool mixture to room temperature.
  5. Stir in sour cream
  6. Pour the filling into the pie shell.
  7. Cover with whipped topping and garnish with a lemon twist. Store in the refrigerator.
