Cake Batter Rice Krispy Treats



4 1/2 cups (1 10 oz. bag) marshmallows
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup yellow cake mix
6 cups Rice Krispies


  1. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt together the marshmallows and butter.
  3. Mix in the cake mix one spoonful at a time.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and half of the sprinkles.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Press into the greased baking pan.
  7. Add the rest of the sprinkles.
  8. Let cool 1 hour.
  9. Cut into squares with a greased knife.
  10. To store, place in layers between greased sheets of parchment or wax paper.
