Crescent Roll Cherry Turnovers Recipe

1 (8 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup cherry pie filling
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 to 2 Tbsp. milk


  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into four rectangles; place onto an ungreased baking sheet. Press perforations to seal.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar.
  4. Place 1 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture onto one half of each rectangle.
  5. Place 1/4 cup pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
  6. Fold dough over the filling; pinch edges to seal.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  8. Place confectioners’ sugar in a small bowl; stir in enough milk to achieve a drizzling consistency.
  9. Drizzle sugar mixture over the turnovers. Serve warm.
