1/2cup butter or margarine 1cup brown sugar, packed 1/4cup milk 2cups powdered sugar
Instructions
Heat the butter over medium heat in a 2-quart saucepan.
When the butter is melted, stir in brown sugar.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and boil 2 minutes longer, still stirring.
Stir in milk and heat to boiling.
Remove from heat and cool.
Slowly stir in the powdered sugar.
Place the saucepan of frosting in a bowl of very cold water and beat until smooth. If the frosting is too stiff, add an additional 1 teaspoon of milk at a time until the frosting is smooth.
