This easy apple pork chops recipe is another variation on apple pork chops with just 5 ingredients! It’s a quick and easy recipe to make, perfect for using apples, including those that are about to go bad in the fridge.

Ingredients

8 pork chops
salt and pepper
3 apples, sliced (if you like firmer apples use baking apples like Granny Smith. I use whatever apples I have on hand. This is a good way to use what is dying in the fridge.)
1/2 cup Heinz 57 sauce
6 oz. apple juice (concentrated, undiluted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Brown the pork chops in a skillet.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the pork chops into a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  5. Arrange the apple slices on top.
  6. Combine Heinz 57 sauce and apple juice.
  7. Pour over everything.
  8. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes, basting occasionally.
