This 2 ingredient biscuits recipe is easy to make using plain yogurt or Greek yogurt to make tasty biscuits your family will love. They take just 5 minutes’ preparation time to make and they are super easy! They’re great for breakfast or as a bread to go with any meal!

Ingredients

1 cup self-rising flour
1-1 1/4 cups plain yogurt or Greek yogurt*

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°.
  2. Place the flour into a medium to large bowl; whisk to fluff.
  3. Add 1  cup yogurt.
  4. Stir until a sticky dough forms. If very sticky, add more flour. If very dry, add more yogurt. The dough should just stick together.
  5. Knead just until smooth. Add additional flour if it is still too sticky.
  6. Pat until it is about ¾ inch thick.
  7. Cut out with biscuit cutter or glass, pressing down and not twisting.
  8. Place each biscuit into a baking pan or cookie sheet, greased or lined with parchment paper or silpat.
  9. Bake for 8-12 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

Notes

  • If using a nonstick baking pan (dark), turn the temperature down to 475°.
  • *Plain Yogurt is runnier than Greek Yogurt, so you may need to use more flour or less yogurt.
