1cup warm water (110°-115°)
1 pkg. or 1 Tbsp. yeast
1/2cupsugar1 tsp. salt
1/4cupoil, shortening or margarine (melted)
1cupwater or milk
6-7cupsall purpose four
Instructions
Combine water and yeast until yeast dissolves and foams.
Add sugar, salt, oil, and water.
Stir in flour.
Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
Let rise until doubled in size.
Divide dough into two pieces.
Shape into loaves and place in greased loaf pans.
Let rise again until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Bake 20-30 minutes, until loaves are golden brown and internal temperature is 190°-200° or bread is hollow sounding when tapped.
Remove from pans and cool.
