This homemade calzone recipe makes great calzones and everyone loves them! They are super delicious and are a handy way to make individual pizzas with less mess. You can make your own homemade calzones for a much lower cost than eating out at a restaurant and each family member can have whatever ingredients they want!

1 batch pizza dough Pizza sauce 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2 lb. mozzarella Desired toppings: pepperoni, onions, olives, green peppers, mushrooms, sausage, browned ground beef

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Divide the dough in half.
  3. Roll each half into a circle.
  4. On half of one circle, spread the pizza sauce, toppings, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese and 1 clove garlic.
  5. Fold the ther half over and seal the edges.
  6. Repeat with other circle of dough.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. When done, brush with butter.
