Easy Vanilla Glaze Recipe

Ingredients
⅓ cup butter or margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
1½ tsp. vanilla
2-4 Tbsp. hot water
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a saucepan until melted.
- Stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well.
- Add the rest of the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the frosting is smooth.
- Glazes one bundt cake or one 10 inch angel food cake.
Notes
To Make It A Lemon Glaze Recipe
Use the Vanilla Glaze recipe and substitute 1⅓ tsp. lemon juice for the vanilla and add ½ tsp. grated lemon peel to the butter.
