Easy Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1 1/4 cups pecans, chopped
1 (8-9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Brown butter in a pan until golden brown. Do not burn.
  3. Cool.
  4. In a separate bowl add other ingredients in the order given.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add cooled butter and blend well.
  7. Pour into pie crust.
  8. Bake 10 minutes at 425°.
  9. Then turn down oven to 325° and continue baking 40 minutes at 325°. Makes one pie.
