The BEST Easy Cherry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. tart red cherries, pitted
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Mix together sugar, flour, salt and cherries.
  3. Line pie pan with pie crust.
  4. Add cherry mixture.
  5. Dot with margarine.
  6. Cover with top crust.
  7. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
  8. Then reduce heat to 350° and bake 25 minutes longer. Makes one pie.
