This easy holiday muffins mix recipe makes tasty muffins with all the flavor of the holidays! You can make the entire recipe yourself or make the mix for a delightful gift in a jar for friends, family, teachers or anyone who might like a tasty edible gift! These are also great after school snacks for kids! You can find this recipe in our Dining On A Dime Cookbook Volume 1.

Ingredients

Units
3 cups all purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup dry milk 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Place mix in a one quart jar.

Holiday Muffins

1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup oil
1 jar Holiday Muffin Mix
  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Grease muffin tins.
  3. Pour Holiday Muffins Mix into a bowl.
  4. Add other ingredients and stir until moistened. Do not overmix.
  5. Fill muffin tins 1/2 full.
  6. Bake 10-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Immediately remove from the pan and serve warm.

Makes 15-18 muffins.
