This Pumpkin Cake is soft, moist, and packed with fall flavor! It comes together in minutes with a cake mix and a few simple ingredients, making it the perfect dessert for family gatherings, holidays, or anytime you’re craving something cozy.

Ingredients

1 box spice cake mix
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup water
4 large eggs
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin purée

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan or a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, sugar, oil, water, eggs, and pumpkin purée until smooth (about 2 minutes).
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  4. Bake: For a 9×13-inch pan, bake 25–30 minutes. For a 10-inch Bundt pan, bake 30–40 minutes.
  5. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Cool cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar or top with vanilla glaze, cream cheese frosting, or your favorite icing.
