A smooth Nutella base is topped with a layer of melted chocolate for a decadent treat that’s perfect for holidays, parties, or anytime you need a quick dessert.

Ingredients

2 cups Nutella
1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. salted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the Nutella and 1/2 cup butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is completely combined.
  3. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  4. Press the Nutella mixture evenly into the pan and smooth the top.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.*
  6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the Nutella mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes, or until set.
  8. Cut into squares and serve!
