This blonde chocolate cream cheese truffles recipe makes rich, creamy candy shop quality truffles with a smooth center and a silky blonde chocolate shell. They look fancy enough for gifts or parties but are surprisingly easy to make!

Ingredients

4 oz, cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
8 oz. blonde chocolate, melted
1 Tbsp. butter
Optional toppings: sea salt flakes or toasted nuts

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes, just until firm enough to handle.
  3. Scoop and roll into small balls (about ½ inch) and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Freeze for 20–30 minutes, or until very firm.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the blonde chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each frozen cream cheese ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely, then place back onto the parchment.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt or nuts before the coating sets.
  8. Chill until firm, then store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use a fork or dipping tool to make coating easier and neater.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla or a pinch of salt to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These truffles make great holiday or gift-box treats when stored chilled.
