Indulge in this Easy Cherry Nut Fudge Recipe, a rich and creamy treat loaded with sweet cherries, crunchy peanuts, and gooey marshmallows. Perfect for gifting or satisfying your chocolate cravings, it’s simple to make and delightfully irresistible.

Ingredients

Fudge Base:

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor)
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 Tbsp. salted butter
1 cup mini marshmallows
3/4 cup candied cherries, halved (or maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry)
1/2 cup salted peanuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Cherry Layer:

1 cup white chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
3 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. To make the fudge base: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.

  3. Microwave in 30–45 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.

  4. Stir in vanilla.

  5. Gently fold in mini marshmallows, halved cherries, and salted peanuts, if using, until evenly distributed.

  6. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, reserving about ⅓ cup for the top layer.
  7. Smooth it evenly with a spatula and set aside.
  8. For the cherry layer: In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk.
  9. Microwave in 30–45 second intervals, stirring every 30-45 seconds until smooth and melted.
  10. Pour over the fudge base, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  11. If needed, remelt the reserved chocolate fudge and drizzle or spread on top for a marbled effect.
  12. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until firm.
  13. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make it extra festive, sprinkle a few chopped cherries or peanuts on top before chilling.

  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
