Ingredients

Units

1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
11 1/2 cups chocolate chips*
12 Tbsp. of red food coloring (adjust to desired color)
1 cup marshmallow fluff
30 large marshmallows**

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the brownie batter according to the box directions.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips and red food coloring until you reach a vibrant red color. (Different brands of food coloring get red faster so keep adding until you have the shade of red you want.)
  3. Bake according to the package instructions.
  4. Immediately after baking, drop spoonfuls of marshmallow fluff over the hot brownies.
  5. Top with large marshmallows.
  6. Broil for 15–20 seconds until the marshmallows are golden. Watch carefully—they can burn quickly!
  7. Cool completely, then cut into squares using a knife sprayed with cooking oil.

Notes

*If you like, swap in white chocolate chips or use a mix of both white and regular chocolate chips.

**If you don’t have large marshmallows, you can use mini ones. Just watch them carefully while broiling.
