This Easy Apple Fritter Bake is a delicious quick shortcut dessert made with cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling—warm, gooey, and drizzled with icing! Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or anytime you need a sweet treat in under an hour.

Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly butter a cast iron skillet, 8×8-inch pan (for a thicker bake), or a 9×13-inch pan (for a quicker, thinner bake).
  3. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place in the prepared pan.
  4. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the rolls and toss gently.
  6. Roughly chop the apples in the pie filling, then spoon evenly over the cinnamon rolls. Lightly toss so everything is spread out in the pan.
  7. Bake for:
    8×8 pan: 40–50 minutes
    9×13 pan: about 20–25 minutes
(Cover loosely with foil if the top starts to brown too quickly.)
  8. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, then drizzle the reserved icing over the top.
