This cozy breakfast bake is gooey, sweet, and absolutely irresistible. It’s perfect for holidays, brunch, or anytime you want to treat the family. Best of all—it only takes a few minutes to throw together, and kids (and adults!) will love it.

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 (12.4 oz.) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
5 eggs
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (milk works too, but cream makes it richer)
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
3/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt butter in a 9×13 pan.
  3. Cut each cinnamon roll into 6–8 pieces and layer on top of butter in the pan.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together the eggs, cream, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  6. Sprinkle with nuts and drizzle with maple syrup.
  7. Bake 20–28 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
  8. Let cool about 15 minutes.
  9. Drizzle with the frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls. For extra sweetness, dust with powdered sugar or serve with more syrup on the side.

Notes

This bake tastes amazing warm, but it reheats well too—making it a great make-ahead breakfast for busy mornings.
