Several readers have asked about our church. We go to church at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. When we lived in Kansas, we joked around that we were the Andover, KS branch because we watched it home with mom and my brother and his family.
We’ve decided to post a teaching from Pastor Bob here each Sunday for those of you would like to enjoy it also.

“Victorious – A Study Through The Book Of Joshua Ch.6″
The nineteenth century spiritual says “Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho,” but as Pastor Bob points out in study titled “Victorious,” Joshua didn’t so much “fight” the battle as he “faithed” it—winning by obeying God’s instructions and seeing how God responded by causing the city walls to fall down. In a similar way, our victories in life come by faith more than by fighting. By faith we still the enemy, hear God’s voice, trust our leaders, wait for God’s best, and endure temptation.
