The Art of Eating a Popsicle

  1. Always eat your popsicle on a hot summer day
  2. Popsicles must be eaten sitting on front steps or soft green grass.
  3. You must lick drips faster then sun can melt them.
  4. Always let some drips fall on bare toes for the dog to lick off.
  5. When you get down to the popsicle stick – even if it looks clean be sure and give 2-3 extra licks to make sure you get it all.
  6. Remember – no one is ever too old to eat a popsicle properly.

Great, but I prefer an ice cream cone. Our grandkids can not lick quite fast enough for the ice cream not to melt, so of course Mimi and Papa have to help them out!

Nice to hear from you Jill. Today I have off from work, so I went to the Farmers Market opening day here and bought wildflower honey, homemade aloe and herb soap, lavender plants and mint plants and eggs. Then I went to the annual library book sale and bought some books for 1 dollar and some for 50 cents. I also bought a used video of the Ten Commamndments. One of my favorite old movies. Looking forward to hearing from you. Can’t wait.
