  I love this cookbook. I purchased one for my sister, too, since this is the first time in her married life (40 years) that she and her husband are both working day time hours and are home for dinner. She has made quite a few of the recipes and is delighted with her gift. As for me, I have always loved chicken and dumplings but my dumplings turned out soggy. Jill and Tawra’s recipe give me “clouds” as my kids called dumplings. Light and fluffy in the middle that don’t fall apart in the juice. Try it. I guarantee you will find something in here that you will love. PS: Jill and Tawra are not paying me for this advertisement. I am just telling you because it works for me. Love those homecooked/homemade dishes.

    Thank you Maggie. Our readers are so sweet and they are the best advertisers for us. I am so glad you like the dumplings. I could never make dumplings either but with this recipe from my mom I finally was able to make them and they are just like little puffy clouds. I love the way you kids describe them.
