Hi there,
I’ve seen the e books advertised numerous times and am interested in saving on our grocery bills etc. I am wondering if they will be applicable for the area we live in. Canada – Prince Edward Island to be exact – where grocery prices are high. Our meat costs are high, especially chicken (sale price is often 3.99-4.99lb).
Are there other useful items in there that could work to save money?
Any information would be helpful.
Jana our e books work any where. We don’t write our tips and ideas with prices in mind but give ideas of how to wisely buy food, use the food you do buy and “tricks of the treat” on how to stretch what you have for food and money.
For example we explain how if a recipe (let’s say a casserole) calls for 1 lb. hamburger you can easily get buy with using only 1/2 a lb. and if you need too stretch it add a little extra rice or noodles which are cheaper then meat.
We teach how 1/3 of most peoples grocery bill is spent on drink items, coffee, tea, sugar, milk for chocolate milk etc. and how you can save a big chunk by starting to drink more water and save the chocolate milk and juice for treats or as a nutrient supplement for your meal. I have a whole section on how if you just start having portion control your family will not only be healthier but you won’t waste or throw out as much food.
We also tell about couponing, warehouse shopping, sales etc. Watching the food you waste. How you can save buy just serving a non meat meal once or twice a week like veggie soup or mac and cheese. So you see they are general ideas which have nothing to do with prices on where a person lives.
We have many people in the states who say we are lucky because we can get this or that cheaper and they can’t what often isn’t realized is there are many things they can get cheaper then we can plus what isn’t always taken into consideration is prices are often higher in different areas of our country but then the average income in that area is too.
I wish I had room to write more. I don’t think most people realize the huge amount of material and tips and ideas I pack into our e books. For example a huge percentage of all of the tips people post on our comments we have already put in one of our e books some place. They are really packed with info. If you need more specifics let me know.
can we buy books printed or are they all e books
The grocery shopping E-course is only an e-book.
Hello, I’m considering buying this course. However, in the past, with the few e-book courses I could afford, they ended up being only 10-12 pages. I was quite disapointed in the length of the books and courses, they more rightly should have been called “reports” and such. I’m not sure how to ask this, but is this course more than a few pages of tips and such? No offense, I just don’t know how to ask, I’m on a very limited budget so have to choose wisely. Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Keep up the good work of your website, it’s great!
I’m not at my computer so I can’t say for sure the number for pages but it’s over 100 then the others have a couple hundred. If you don’t like it we do offer a 100% guarantee .
Hi Jill and Tawra! I am thinking of purchasing this set of e-books. I have one question though – me and my husband follow a lacto-vegetarian diet (no eggs, milk products are OK) and I was wondering if you think that the majority of the tips would still be useful from our household’s point of view (obviously excluding the Money Saving Meats
). Thank you!
Maria for this set of books I really don’t think special diet needs will make a difference. These aren’t so much books with recipes but just general money saving tips which work no matter where you live or your special diet needs. For example we talk about the ins and outs of warehouse shopping – do you really save, how to use coupons, not wasting food and using leftovers, portion control, menu planning, organizing your kitchen and pantry so you don’t waste the food you buy. We teach how to save before you even go to the store, how to get motivated to save and not become overwhelmed, As you can see these really aren’t recipes only general tips all can use except maybe the meat one. But even with that it might have some tips you could adapt.
One thing even with our regular cookbooks that many people with special diet needs say is that our recipes because they are so simple and basic they are very easy to adapt. I know you were asking about the grocery e books so this is just for those wondering about the cook book too.
Hope this helps answer your question.

Is this a one time payment of $9.98 or are you charged $9.98 each month that you use the ebook. I’ve learned that the hard way with these ebooks. If I am trying to “live on a dime”, I’m hoping that it’s just a one time charge.
Please advise.
No, that is a one time payment.
