Sending you many HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes from all your fans in England! Hope you have a really special day – you deserve it! Best wishes from Jenny

    • Funny Tawra should get birthday wishes from England. When she was young she use to love going around with a long drape for a cape or robe and being the oldest she would tell her younger brother and cousins that they had to follow her because she was the Queen and would tease her to this day about her being the Queen. Last night the extended family (cousins etc.)had a birthday party for her so she made herself a crown, used drapes for a robe, a curtain rod for a scepter. Then when she arrived at the party her son rolled out a red carpet, her daughter throw rose petals and her youngests blew kazoos (they didn’t have a trumpet) and Michael and the kids then sang God Save the Queen as she marched in. It was so funny.

happy late birthday to Tawra! the party idea is great! If her b-day is7/28, she shares a b-day with my son, who turned 34! (Who did that, I can’t possibly be old enough to have a child 34!!!!!), Oh, wait, my oldest is 36!!!

hope you had a super day!!!!

    • She missed his birthday by one day. Hers is the 29th. I’m like you. I look at my kids and they are starting to get gray hair and I’m thinking if they are getting gray what must I be doing and does that mean I am getting old too?? : ) I tease them all the time now and tell them when I was their age was when they started treating me as if I was an old woman – Mom you can’t lift that box, mom is that too far for you to walk, mom you just rest now. It was sweet of them but you would have thought I had 1 foot in the grave at 40. : )

Happy Birthday Tawra, You are a very lucky woman to have SO MUCH LOVE! You are a queen because the people that love you treat you like one. Never take that for granted. God Bless.

  • Thanks everyone!! We had a great weekend.

Tawra, Just missed reading this on the 29th so wanted to wish you a belated birthday. I turned 66 on July 1st and cannot believe it. Forty will seem like you are getting old but I think the forties are the best. No kids in diapers, both of mine were in school, and things were looking brighter financially. I know you will look back on this birthday as a wonderful time.
This summer at the beach, my kids kept telling me, Let us do that, mom or we will carry that, you don’t have to. I hated feeling like I couldn’t do some things but the reality was, I couldn’t do all the things I used to. I was always the toter of stuff to the shore. Now, I just have to stand back and let the younger ones do it now. Guess it’s their turn and they don’t seem to mind it. The times, they are a-changing!

Tawra, missed reading about your bday. Wishing you the best. Just remember, women are like a fine wine, we improve with age, heee, heee.
