
Grandma’s Homemade Barbecue Sauce
2 cups catsup
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped or 1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Place in a jar and store in the refrigerator. Makes 3 cups.

What is liquid smoke, where can I find it in the store, and how much does it cost on average?
It’s a seasoning usually found on the top shelf by the ketchup. It used to have a red label on it.
