I just started (again) saving jars. I have a problem in that DH sees them, then throws them away. I have to ‘get’ them, wash and dry and fill as soon as I can
A great jar for giving ‘cereal mix’ in are those tall wide mouthed pickle jars. Can we mention brand names (it’s the ‘V’ brand)? But you probably know which one, the whole pickles come in them, really tall jars, and they’re actually PRETTY jars!
You can mention brand names Melissa. There are some really pretty and cute jars. I don’t throw any of mine away because I use them for so many things.

No Sandi it is the same as what is in Dining. So many people kept asking us to do it separate so we did.

I use my Dining on a Dime cookbook on a regular basis, especially when I need a quick dinner. The recipes are easy and they include ingredients I already have on hand, so no running to the store last minute just to get dinner on the table. I am going to do gifts in a jar this year for Christmas presents. Thanks for putting out such a great book, this book should be a requirement for college students, and all newly weds.
