I’ve been getting your emails for almost about 12 of your 15 years, but never purchased anything. I lost track of you the past couple of years, just deleting and saving for later your emails, in my information overload, but I really need to look you over again because I was diagnosed with FM about a year ago after complaining for about 8 years that I was in pain & exhausted all the time. I am excited to see you on fb, because that is where I keep track of most of my blogs, so I can easily find what I need when I want it. Congratulations!

  78. Angela says

I am glad I can enter for a copy of this book! I have bought some of your e-books when you have had sales, but I haven’t got this one yet :) I am thankful that you do Living On A Dime, not just for the tips for saving money, but for the Biblical advice about debt and other topics, for sharing how you guys deal with your health challenges.

I am 28 and have chronic back pain which unfortunately doesn’t just mean I struggle with bad pain in my back – but referred pain, and my central nervous system is scrambled! When I come into contact with anything cold, instead of my CNS interpreting it as temperature, it instead interprets it as intense pain. My pain is affected by hormones, and becoming pregnant results in losing function very quickly after about 2 months to the point that I was in hospital and they would have to get the Wardsmen to come and roll me over in bed every four to six hours! My partner is my carer at the moment after having our fourth child (who is 2 and a half months old), and I have worked to go from walking frame, to crutches and now getting around without any of those – and am working towards getting well enough again to take care of the house and kids so he can return to work. It helps me to read about other people health challenges (and strategies for coping and living), and so I am thankful to you all.

May God bless you so mightily, and increase all your seeds sown!
    Angela :)

  79. Lindsay says

I allow ONE extra curricular activity ata time. No guilt! Jill says the kids will be okay and they are! LOVE recent response about getting into debt for college. Insanity! Congratulations on 15 years of great advice :-)

I Have been collecting your articles for two years to give to the moms that attend our parenting classes. In December we purchased the 3 book set and are going to have a discussion class for each book then give that book to the moms for them to take home and keep for continued reference and good recipes. Will certainly be ordering more.

I just love your website. I am only 22 years old so I normally don’t comment because I think that I don’t know near as much as any of you guys so I should just read what you guys have to say instead bc you can’t learn by talking. But, I am commenting bc I would really like to win a print version of this book; I have been wanting to buy one for a while but I can’t ever seem to justify spending money on myself. I even thought about buying a copy of some of your books for my sister for christmas but I ran out of my alotted Christmas money buy spending it on her children instead of her so I didn’t get to get it then. I love reading your newsletters and the postings on your website. I am always looking for ways to save money and better ways of cleaning or organizing. I am a little OCD so I like things to be orderly and simple and kept up. Thank you so much for everything.
