If you want a cute idea to get into the Christmas spirit have an elf visit!
Elfred our family elf has been visiting since Thanksgiving. The kids leave him a snack and note and in the morning he leaves them a treat, like a package of cookies, pudding cups etc. Things they don’t normally get.
Sometimes he causes mischief like making snow angels in the flour.
Or he may clean their room “extra good” for them.
It’s a fun way to have a little bit of Christmas everyday with the kids.

Hello. This is Roxie in Texas again. Something I did last year that was a huge hit as a gift and cost next to nothing was Christmas stocking pillows. I got some really nice stockings on clearance. I took them and stuffed them with fiber fill (you could use most anything for this, I have used old hose and plastic bags) and then whip stitched the top closed. You have a pretty pillow for the sofa or chair. I made these for the friends on our list last year and everyone was pleased.
Hello. This is Ronnie in Connecticut again. Something I did last year that was a hugh hit as a gift and cost next to nothing was Christmas stocking pillows. I got some really nice stockings at Lord & Taylor’s and stuffed them with silk (you could use most anything for this, I have old used old hose bags) and then whipped the top closed. You have a pretty pillow for the sofa or chair. I made these for the friends on our list last year and everyone was pleased (or, they lied to my face).
