I have a little project that I’m working on now.
So many people around us are getting pink slips
and I’m getting a little concerned. So to make
myself feel a little better I put together our
unemployment budget. It’s ugly but doable. I
whittled our bills from $2700 to $2100 a month. I
won’t lie it’s a huge stretch but if I’m extremely
careful we should be able to keep our home and
cover all of the bills. In IL unemployment tops
out at $534. I just thought maybe others would
like to look into setting up an unemployment
budget before it happens. It’s defiantly helping
me sleep easier.
Thank you!

I was just wondering if you would link this back to my site.
What an honor!!!!
Hope you had a Happy Turkey Day!
SonyaAnn, you are really smart to do this.
nOne of use can be too sure that a job loss is not in the future, even in a stable economy.
welcome to reality sorry to say better to pay it all down and also you may need if you can another job to get the payment down quickly better to get it down now while your are still young then doing it in retirement then it will be sooooo much harder to pay down…
thank you for this great idea…..we are already living on one income as i am a SAHM and homeschooling, too…our one income is already 3/4 lower than what we are used to….and in the event of no income at all, scares me to think of it, but being prepared for the future is important….thanks…
