I need some readers help, please.
Forgive the short blogging today. Elly is sick again with a stomach and headache. She has been doing this for two months now so I have to run to the doctor, again.
I have a couple of requests.
Update: We have enough takers on the e-books. Thanks everyone! Tawra
1st- I have 3 new e-books coming out. I need about 10 people to read them, give me their two cents and look for any remaining errors. We have a new Menus e-book, How to get 0% balances on your credit cards and a Valentine's e-book. If this is something you would be interested in please email and I will send them to you. They are all under 60 pages and you could get them free and be the first to review them!
2nd- If any of you have church at home (you worship as a family in your home on Sunday instead of going to a formal church.) would you please email me? We are considering this and would like some input.
Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure of your reasons for desiring church at home, but we have discovered and enjoyed a family-integrated church, where the family stays together and worships together. You can research them via internet, and find locations. Even little children can learn so much and see godly adult examples serving and worshiping as a united family of believers.
Tawra,
I know that we are all supposed to attend a church and worship with other believers because that's what the Lord wants us to do...however, we do not attend a local church. We have personal reasons for not attending a church. To make a long story short, we had a friend (who was a Deacon) that was murdered by his best friend (who was the Youth Minister) because the Youth Minister was having an affair with the Deacon's wife (the wife plotted this murder and both have been in jail since it happened in 2004, leaving behind 4 children of the Deacon and his wife, and 3 children of the Youth Minister and his wife...who has since divorced him). Another example is that there have been a couple of preachers here in our town who have had to leave their churches for having affairs with married women of the congregation. Finally, the last church we left went through 5 youth ministers in 4 years and there was just no stability. I feel like worshipping and studying at home is perfectly fine, although many people do not agree with me. But we love to watch Joel Osteen, Charles Stanley, and John Hagee. They all have websites where you could probably find their listings on TV and even listen to their sermons on the internet. Sometimes I'll even put one on to listen to while I'm getting dressed or cleaning house.
There are many people who are physically not able to attend a church so I don't feel like the Lord will hold that against us because we are doing what we think is right to protect and teach our children.
Anyway, like I said, I know a lot of people don't agree with my views and reasons for not attending church but that's ok. I'm doing what I feel is best for my family because the world (and even the church) is just not as safe as it once was.
