Stocking Stuffers
Hi....good housekeeping magazine has a candy garland, kinda like the wreath idea, thought you might like.....
Also....a few years back I realized we were spending a lot on stocking stuffers...that were basically junk.......anyway.......some things we do now....toothbrushes, (fun ones), snacks for them to eat (bread store.....pies, granola bars, fruit snacks...etc)...juice boxes.....things like that....all things I wouldn't normally buy...the kids love it.....pretty cheap too....
take care...dd
We do this to, as a matter of fact just today I found some books the kids might like at the thrift store for stocking stuffers. We also give things that we normally don't buy like drink packets, special foods like fruit gummies, coffee for BJ who loves it, or cocoa packets. Things like microwave popcorn and gum go in the stockings too!

My children do not get a lot of Happy Meals or other fast food meals...so those kind of toys are 'new' to them. We have a neighbor whose son works for McDonald's. He will bring home the toys for me. (He has permission; he brings them home at the end of the promotion) So I save the toys all year for the boy's stockings. They are always thrilled. Roxie
