Buster
Our new dog Buster is doing well. We are still fighting fleas but they aren't too bad now.
I think the allergies were due to the cat food he kept sneaking! When we put her food up higher he stopped the constant scratching. Yeah! I'm glad we got that one figured out!
I must admit though it would have been cheaper to just get a dog from the humane society. We've spent about $150 so far just getting him healthy again! Oh well, he's worth it! :-)
So far he is "mom's baby" and just stays by my side 24/7. We really love having him. I'm glad we were able to get him!

Tawra,
On the fleas - you must dispose of your vacuum cleaner bag or dump the waste from the cannister and remove the waste to an outside dumpster - vacuuming and not removing the waste will enhance the fleas not get rid of them.
Tawra, In my experience, "Revolution" brand flea repellent/heartworm preventive is well worth the money. I stretch it a little by giving it to my in/out dogs once every 6wks & my indoor cats only when I find a flea. I last gave it to the cats 3yrs ago, & we are flea & heartworm free! :)
He's beautiful.... lucky dog to have such good and loving parents. I have a spoiled rotten dachshund who thinks she is supposed to be in my lap all the time!
