Haircuts
I've talked before about giving the guys a haircut.
One of the best investments I ever made was in a pair of professional clippers. I paid $150 for them 12 years ago. After I used them on my dog I got new blades and used them on Mike and the boys.
I have saved hundreds of dollars over the years.

I've often wondered about cutting my kids hair myself, I'm just afraid of making a mess of it. How did you learn to do it yourself? Any tips?

I too give home hair cuts. Not to my husband though, he will not let me now that he does not do the 'high and tight' cuts anymore. (former MARINE) I got a book called "hair cutting for dummies" and it works well. It was kind of funny, I keep the book in the hair cutting kit, so it is always there when I cut the boys hair. Now Gavin age 7 can read...he always worries about his hair cuts because Grandma Dummy is cutting his hair....Roxie
