Popsicles

Hi Tawra and Jill,

Thanks for the great recipes! Your newsletter is always full of great ideas but this popsicle one was special.

My own tried-and-true:

1. (Neater variation on Lisa's) Slice a banana, stick a toothpick into each slice (like a lollipop), freeze. Dip each lolly into yogurt (strawberry is a winner but try any), freeze again. Freeze flat while making them; when frozen you can dump them in a bag or container.

2. Spoon crushed pineapple straight from the can into an ice cube tray. Stick two toothpicks into each. (Makes a better stick than one toothpick.)

2b. Less simple but sweeter: mix equal parts crushed pineapple and orange juice.

All of these are delicious, and easy enough and healthy enough to keep noshing on. The banana one is a real treat.
