Water alternative

I'm sure some of your readers are like me and don't like to drink water....I was reading an amish book (Beverly Lewis) one day and it said they drank mint water...(something like that, anyway)...so I mixed 1/2 cup water, about 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar and a few drops of mint/pepermint extract, heat for a couple of minutes in the microwave, and add to a gal on water...chill...we love it.....much cheaper than soda, and even than kool-aid...(which I used to drink in the summer)....dd

Thanks for the tip! I might try that myself since I love mint!

BTW, We still have some more damaged Not Just Beans. If you would like one email me and let me know and I will send you an invoice. I will sell them for $6.50 including shipping. (sorry, shipping went up this week) All the pages are there, they are just scuffed.

I too have a hard time drinking enough plain water. Soda just tastes better, but I am not supposed to drink soda for many reasons. I drink plain water now icy cold with the juice of half a lemon or lime added to it. Very delish. We are lucky enough to have a lemon and a lime tree in our yard. Even if I had to buy the lemons and limes it would be worth it to get the water drank.

This is Roxie. Hope the packing and moving goes well. Have you found a house yet?

Here are some more tips - add slices of orange or freshly grated ginger for better-tasting water.
