Saving On Toilet Paper
We get a lot of tips and most are ones that we've heard about or done for years but this one I have never heard of. It sounds very interesting and I ma going to check it out! I try to get the best deal that I "think" I can but have never really been able to find out if the double, mega, 12 pack or 24 packs are any better than the good old 4 pack of regular toilet paper.
I am going to check this one out! Tawra

Hi, I didnt know where on your site to give a
tip that I feel would be useful to everyone. It
involves toilet paper,lol!
Funny as that sounds,
my tip is this- when purchasing toilet paper be
sure to check the total square feet amount on
each roll. Each roll should be 125 square ft
total. Most people grab a large packet of
several rolls, thinking they are getting more
for their money, when just the opposite is
happening. Your getting ripped off. Check the
pkg for the total square feet. Divide the Square
feet by the number of rolls in the pkg. If it
doesn't come out to 125 square feet per
roll, your getting ripped off. Some packages are
4 rolls, but don't even amount to the total of
125 square feet you can buy in a single roll
for .69cent or less. But they are paying close
to $3.00 for a 4 roll pack.
CHECK IT OUT AND SEE
IF I AM RIGHT, I BET I AM. Hope this info
helps,thanks. laura B. south glens falls,ny.

Laura is right. It's no different than checking the ounces or other measure to see if you are getting what you are paying for. Where we live I can get Charmine mega for only pennies more than the store brand and the quality is soooo much better. The store brand only beats the catalog out back of the property! HAHAHAHA!
Hi,
Just discovered your site and have been reading tips off and on all day. I really like it. :)
Regarding the toilet paper. I always buy either Scott (or the grocery store brand of 1000 sheets per roll). We have bought this kind for 12 years of marriage and a none of us mind if it is not quilted or plush. You get used to it. Plus, it is the same quality as most restaurants use and we don't mind it there. If we have company coming for a week, we get some softer stuff sometimes. Some times we do not because if someone is going to judge you on the quality of your toilet paper, then........well, you know the rest. The savings is fantastic. You don't change the roll as often, etc.
